Training Session/Workshop Kerikeri Netball Centre on Sunday 27 May, from 9am. 
Session 1 on Sunday – Jo Hona and Monique Satele explain HOW TO RUN A TRAINING SESSION and will be beneficial to any Coach of any aged team. Jo needs no introduction, everyone knows how great she is, and introducing Monique Satele. Monique is the current Coach of the KKHS Open A Netball team; she comes to us fresh out of the Waikato having represented that region as an U21 player. Monique is an exciting young coach and has much knowledge and experience to share with us all.
YEAR 7 & 8 Representative Trials 2012

Year 7 and 8 trials will take place during normal Saturday games of 12 and 19 May.
All trialists will need to be nominated by their Coach, PE Teacher or Executive Committee Member and once documentation is received each player will be given a unique triallist number that they must have written on their legs during their playing games on the days of selection.
ALL NOMINEES will be observed while playing for their School/Club Team on two Saturdays, 12 and 19 May. Following this players will be “Called Back” for a third and final trial that will take place on Tuesday 22 May at 4.00pm at the Kerikeri Netball Centre.
The Rep Team coaches for Years 7 & 8 are Karyn McCondach as the Year 7 coach and Raewyn Neale as the Year 8 Coach.
The Selectors will be Brenda Winikerei, Jo Hona, Maree Urlich with both Karyn and Raewyn selecting for the respective age group they are coaching.

1. POSITION OF UMPIRES
An Umpire always Umpires to their right. The below diagram (not to scale) shows the area each Umpire looks after.
Umpire B governs the Aquamarine area including ALL of that sideline for Throw In calls and all infringements pertaining to that Throw In.
Umpire A governs the Pink area including ALL of that sideline for Throw In calls and all infringements pertaining to Throw ins on that side.
Umpires never make calls in the half that is looked after by the opposing Umpire.
